Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 innovation roadmaps by analyzing emerging tech trends (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and market disruptions
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive teams to prepare for industry paradigm shifts
- Design and implement prototyping initiatives for future-facing solutions
- Author whitepapers on disruptive technologies and their strategic implications
- Manage cross-functional R&D partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present strategic foresight findings to boards and investor groups
- Mentor internal teams on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist advisory roles
- Proven track record of translating technological foresight into commercial impact
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research on emerging technologies or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning tools and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating innovation roadmaps implemented in real-world contexts
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
