Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight framework identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Produce scenario-planning reports for executive leadership on potential market disruptions by 2026
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-generation products and services
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to capture emerging innovations
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies using AI-powered trend analysis tools
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology planning
- Proven track record developing future-ready roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi Method, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: AI, synthetic biology, quantum systems, and advanced materials
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related technical field
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in foresight platforms like Gartner Trend Insights or Futures Platform
