Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruptions and technological convergence
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their industry-specific implications
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for future market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with product teams to translate future trends into actionable R&D priorities
- Present strategic foresight insights to investors, board members, and executive leadership
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work and digital transformation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills with data-driven insights
- Experience with innovation frameworks (e.g., Business Model Canvas, Lean Startup)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
