Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends (biotech, AI, climate tech, space exploration) to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients across tech, healthcare, and finance sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Produce executive-ready trend reports with quantitative and qualitative evidence
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT Media Lab, Singularity University)
- Advocate ethical innovation principles in emerging technology adoption
- Present foresight insights at industry conferences and board meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience facilitating executive workshops with C-level stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
