Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and Web3
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps with quantifiable ROI projections
- Facilitate design thinking workshops with engineering and product teams
- Present strategic foresight to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurist partners and academic institutions
- Author thought leadership reports published in industry journals
- Prototype future scenarios using simulation and modeling tools
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futures research
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial solutions
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and scenario planning projects
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology publications
