Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption vectors
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to incubate moonshot projects
- Author whitepapers on future-of-work implications and digital transformation
- Advise product teams on integrating emerging technologies into core offerings
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present futures scenarios to executive leadership and board committees
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futures research
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major platforms
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM) preferred
