Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their market implications
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product innovations using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Produce executive briefings on disruptive threats and opportunities across global markets
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring future-readiness in organizational capabilities
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and evaluate frontier technology startups
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in futures methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, backcasting)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their convergence patterns
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in technology or future studies (IEEE, MIT Sloan, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives launched in the past 3 years
