Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual Horizon Scanning Reports identifying disruptive tech trends impacting 2026 markets
- Lead cross-functional Future Scenario Workshops with C-suite executives to stress-test strategic pivots
- Design and validate Innovation Roadmaps integrating AI ethics, climate resilience, and human augmentation
- Manage portfolio of Future-Proofing Initiatives with $50M+ annual budgets
- Pioneer Emerging Tech Labs for neural interfaces and synthetic biology applications
- Represent Horizon at Davos, SXSW, and UN Innovation Summits as keynote futurist
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Theory or equivalent experience (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic innovation at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published industry foresight with 50+ citations in tech policy journals
- Expertise in convergent technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety
- Portfolio demonstrating systemic impact on product roadmaps or policy frameworks
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, STEEP-V, causal layered analysis
- Security clearance for national innovation strategy consultations (preferred)
