Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, sociocultural shifts, and market disruptions to identify strategic opportunities through 2030
- Develop and maintain Horizon's 2026 Innovation Framework, aligning R&D investments with future market demands
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and present future-vision scenarios to executive stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and integrate disruptive startups into our ecosystem
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 strategic milestones
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning or innovation roles with proven 2020+ horizon impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience with cross-cultural futures mapping and global trend forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and stakeholder influence
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
