Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for long-term innovation roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future scenarios into corporate strategy and investment decisions
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops using speculative design methodologies
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D centers
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario planning documents for executive stakeholders
- Lead digital transformation initiatives aligned with future workforce and market evolution
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Futures Studies, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Track record of driving successful innovation initiatives with measurable business impact
- Experience with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist projects or published thought leadership
