Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global technological, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop horizon scanning frameworks and scenario-planning models for strategic decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present trend insights to executive stakeholders and translate foresight into actionable roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D labs for early trend detection
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at industry foresight forums
- Oversee the Innovation Lab's research pipeline and technology scouting initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend synthesis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience managing innovation budgets and leading cross-functional teams
- Published thought leadership in futures studies or innovation strategy
