Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients in AI, climate tech, and space exploration
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with C-suite executives and research institutions
- Author thought leadership reports published in journals like Future Studies Quarterly
- Design scenario-planning models for geopolitical and technological black swan events
- Mentor junior futurists and academic partnerships with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published author in futurist literature with peer-reviewed citations
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario modeling)
- Experience advising on regulatory frameworks for exponential technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on product roadmaps or policy development
