Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory landscapes, and consumer behavior shifts to forecast 2026+ market opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present foresight insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership pieces on future-of-work and technology evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, or Social Sciences; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market trends (portfolio required)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, biotech, Web3, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented innovations
