Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology impact roadmaps using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering and product teams to prototype future solutions
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging tech disruptions (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Design foresight frameworks to identify exponential growth opportunities
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate next-gen startups and partnerships
- Curate annual 'FutureTech' summit featuring industry pioneers
- Build strategic alliances with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or futurist consulting (Fortune 500 or Big Tech preferred)
- Proven track record forecasting tech disruptions with 85%+ accuracy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Tech Review
- Experience building innovation pipelines with $50M+ budgets
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures to stakeholders
