Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term business resilience
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating future insights into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Author visionary thought leadership publications and executive briefings on disruptive trends
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data-driven forecasting models
- Champion a culture of continuous innovation across organizational silos
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
