Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and emerging opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product/service development plans
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions through rapid experimentation cycles
- Present strategic insights and innovation frameworks to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Establish foresight metrics to track emerging technology adoption and competitive disruption indicators
- Build and maintain an external innovation ecosystem through strategic partnerships and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial innovation initiatives
- Deep expertise in AI, biotech, climate tech, or quantum computing convergence points
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario-planning capabilities with quantitative/qualitative frameworks
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Technology, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or disruption (articles, patents, keynotes)
- Strong proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi methods, system dynamics modeling)
