Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, economic, and regulatory domains to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation frameworks including scenario planning and roadmapping for emerging markets
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future insights into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Present compelling future vision narratives to stakeholders through executive briefings and thought leadership platforms
- Establish and manage an ecosystem of external futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for collaborative foresight
- Quantify future market potential through data modeling and competitive scenario analysis
- Champion design thinking methodologies to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent with 8+ years of applied foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial innovation and product development
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning) and trend analysis tools
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability with experience presenting to executive audiences and C-level stakeholders
- Experience building and managing cross-disciplinary innovation teams in fast-paced environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or technology strategy (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects and strategic initiatives
