Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ horizons
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future-focused technologies into product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and Board of Directors
- Establish innovation metrics and track adoption of future-forward initiatives
- Build and lead a specialized futurist research team
- Pioneer new methodologies for trend analysis and technology forecasting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Business Strategy, or related field
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
