Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI integration, quantum computing adoption, and climate-tech disruption
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and executive teams to translate foresight into actionable plans
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify emerging startups and technologies for acquisition
- Build and maintain a proprietary trend intelligence database using machine learning analytics
- Advose C-suite on long-term risk mitigation and opportunity identification in emerging sectors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market disruptions (provide 3 case studies)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep technical understanding of AI, biotech, climate-tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published author or frequent speaker at Davos, SXSW, or similar high-impact forums
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
