Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends in AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing to forecast market disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026-2035 business horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation pipelines aligned with future human needs
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging industries
- Build a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurism consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Experience with horizon scanning and weak signal detection methodologies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
