Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech) and translate insights into actionable 2026+ strategic frameworks
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive market shifts and regulatory changes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling visual narratives
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and tech pioneers
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling methodologies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published research or thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
