- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes impacting innovation landscapes
- Partner with R&D to prioritize future-facing R&D investments
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Strong proficiency in scenario modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
