Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation, aligning with corporate vision and technological inflection points
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, design, and marketing teams to incubate 2026+ product concepts
- Author forward-looking research papers and scenario models for executive decision-making and investor communications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to accelerate innovation pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic signals to assess impact on technology adoption and market dynamics
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with future-focused outcomes
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable energy)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis skills with published thought leadership
- Experience facilitating executive-level workshops and translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful product roadmaps launched in 3+ technology sectors
