Responsibilities
- Forecast and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) for commercial viability
- Develop strategic implementation roadmaps for 2026+ tech ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Author white papers on technological disruption scenarios and mitigation strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and national labs
- Champion ethical AI development and responsible innovation frameworks
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Bioengineering, or related field
- 7+ years in tech innovation with proven track record in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neural network architecture, synthetic biology
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry thought leadership
- Deep understanding of exponential growth curves and technological convergence
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex interdependencies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
