Responsibilities
- Architect AI systems with 2026+ capabilities including self-correcting neural networks
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum computing applications
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact
- Translate theoretical research into patentable commercial solutions
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused development methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 5+ years applied research
- Published work in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) on future technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, or AGI safety
- Proven track record of deploying production-level AI systems with 99.99% uptime
- Deep understanding of exponential technology trends (Moore's Law 2.0, quantum advantage)
- Experience securing $1M+ in research grants or venture funding
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three paradigm-shifting technological prototypes
