Your insights will directly influence our $2B R&D portfolio and shape how we define 'next-normal' industries.
Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (2026-2030) across AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Develop strategic technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption timelines
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify opportunities in high-impact sectors like healthcare, climate tech, and autonomous systems
- Present compelling future-state narratives to executive stakeholders and investor communities
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and tech innovators
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers published in top-tier industry publications
- Oversee cross-functional innovation sprints focused on prototyping 2026-ready solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology forecasting with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of anticipating and commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI governance, quantum applications, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level narratives
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, WFS) or scenario planning methodologies
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent tier
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams and managing R&D budgets >$50M
