Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, generative AI, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investment committees
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
- Mentor emerging talent in emerging technologies and innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching transformative tech products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
