Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead ideation sessions for futuristic products/services with $50M+ market potential
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate disruptive innovations
- Present futuristic scenarios to executive boards and CTOs of Fortune 500 clients
- Author white papers and thought leadership on tech disruption in 2026
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and technology scouts
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to identify acquisition opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends with 90%+ accuracy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills with Fortune 500 clients
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, journals, books)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management preferred
