Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps and future scenarios for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and emerging technologies
- Translate foresight into strategic product roadmaps and investment recommendations
- Present future insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio of published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech and academic circles
