Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite on disruptive technology risks/opportunities
- Build cross-functional innovation labs with academia and industry partners
- Translate complex technological trends into executive-level strategic narratives
- Drive patent strategy and emerging tech investment portfolio
- Mentor futurist talent across global innovation centers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting technological adoption curves
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology)
- Executive communication skills translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight publications
- Experience building innovation ecosystems with Fortune 500 companies
