Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop patent-pending innovation frameworks for AI-human symbiosis
- Architect strategic roadmaps for quantum computing applications across verticals
- Partner with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Deliver keynote presentations at global tech summits representing Horizon Dynamics
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies
- Publish thought leadership in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic technology planning at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology adoption curves and diffusion theory
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures research or tech strategy journals
- Exceptional command of scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience advising global policymakers on tech ethics and governance frameworks
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or Julia preferred)
