Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and socio-economic indicators to forecast industry disruptions through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models and strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and present foresight findings to executive leadership
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Monitor competitive landscapes and identify first-mover opportunities in emerging sectors
- Integrate sustainability and ethical frameworks into all future-strategy development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology planning
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario-planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Assessment (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
