Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Develop and communicate a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineering leads and foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and agility.
- Emerging Tech Analysis: Evaluate and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., Neuromorphic Computing, Synthetic Data) to determine feasibility for production use.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executive leadership to secure budget and resources for high-impact, future-forward projects.
- Process Optimization: Redesign operational workflows to leverage AI for maximum efficiency and scalability.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish frameworks for responsible AI deployment to ensure compliance and ethical standards in future iterations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, data science, or strategic technology roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of Machine Learning, Large Language Models, and future-forward computing architectures.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of navigating ambiguity and delivering results in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our San Francisco headquarters.
