We are looking for a visionary Head of Future Technology & AI Strategy to define our technological trajectory for 2026 and beyond. This is not a traditional IT management role; it is a strategic leadership position focused on identifying, validating, and integrating emerging technologies that will reshape our industry.
In this role, you will lead our internal innovation lab, bridging the gap between speculative research and market-ready products. You will be the architect of our 2026 Technology Vision, ensuring we are not just keeping pace with the future, but actively shaping it.
Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the comprehensive 2026 Technology Vision and Long-term Roadmap.
- Lead R&D initiatives focusing on Generative AI, Neural Interfaces, and Quantum Readiness.
- Oversee the transition of experimental prototypes into viable product strategies.
- Identify emerging risks and ethical implications of new technologies.
- Build and mentor a high-performance team of futurists, engineers, and data scientists.
- Collaborate with the C-Suite to secure budget and resources for forward-looking projects.
- Present quarterly innovation reports to the Board of Directors and global stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in senior technology leadership, with 3+ years specifically focused on AI strategy and emerging tech.
- Deep understanding of the technological landscape expected for 2026 (e.g., AGI, Advanced LLMs, Autonomous Systems).
- Proven track record of turning speculative concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership.
