Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral cameras for precise diagnostics
- Implement strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate patient flow, scheduling, and seamless chairside assistance
- Maintain accurate digital dental records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Train new assistants on advanced equipment and practice protocols
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) required
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a high-volume dental practice
- Advanced certification in radiology and infection control
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- CPR/BLS certification current and maintained
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
