Responsibilities
- Provide advanced patient care in ICU/ER/Telemetry units at premier Kansas City hospitals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize electronic medical records systems (EPIC/Cerner) for documentation
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility-specific protocols for patient safety
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide patient education and support to families during critical care scenarios
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and department-specific protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (compact license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in ICU, ER, or Telemetry
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN degree strongly preferred for top-tier assignments
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical environments
