Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Telemetry units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments and care delivery using electronic health records systems
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and state nursing regulations
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate critical updates to healthcare providers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing with Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in specialty area
- Current BLS, ACLS, and any specialty-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and protocols
- Strong critical thinking skills and excellent patient communication abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
