Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to specific needs.
- Clinical Excellence: Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including patient charts and incident reports.
- Emergency Response: Quickly assess and respond to critical situations, demonstrating advanced clinical judgment.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance initiatives and patient safety programs to improve care standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana (or compact state eligibility).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; specialty certifications preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care or specialty nursing experience required.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to adapt quickly to new environments, teams, and patient populations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Technology: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
