Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telephone and triage protocols to determine urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to prioritize patient care based on acuity
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and families
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient flow
- Implement emergency protocols during critical situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona (AZ RN)
- Minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and de-escalation abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- Triage certification strongly encouraged
