Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations
- Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed treatments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Offer companionship and emotional support to combat isolation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Tennessee Home Health Aide certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience preferred
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Physical ability to lift clients and perform home care duties
