Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and errands for clients
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and maintain detailed client records
- Report changes in client condition to care coordinator promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide or caregiver experience
- Current California HHA certification and CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Compassionate demeanor with patience for elderly/disabled clients
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and health monitoring
