Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document client observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per care plan
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain a safe client environment
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Communicate effectively with families and care team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Kansas CNA certification or HHA certification
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year home health or senior care experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform standing tasks
