Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health status
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping
- Administer medications under proper supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes
Qualifications
- Current Maryland HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with patient transfers
- Compassionate nature and patience with elderly/disabled clients
