Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, vacuuming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with daily living activities as prescribed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in client behavior or health status to the care coordinator.
- Document daily care activities and incidents accurately in the care log.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Kentucky Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
