Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics to ensure client safety.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and report any significant changes to the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Prepare meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
Qualifications
- Current and active Georgia CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) license required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (insured vehicle required).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient privacy.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
