Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and document health changes accurately
- Provide medication reminders and support prescribed treatment plans
- Offer companionship and emotional support to combat loneliness
- Light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Report concerns promptly to care coordinators
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months professional caregiving experience required
- Current Arizona HHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Clear background check and negative TB test results
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical care tasks
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly clients
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
