Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition.
- Monitor and record vital signs, medication schedules, and daily progress accurately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and accompany them on walks for exercise.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification or valid CNA license.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience working with seniors is preferred but not required.
