Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and document observations
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Follow personalized care plans and communicate changes in client condition
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Home Health Aide or certified nursing assistant
- Current Texas HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in documenting care activities electronically
- Clear background check and drug screening required
