Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications at scheduled times.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation and activities to promote mental well-being and reduce isolation.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments or errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current, valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Licensure: Colorado State Nurse Aide (SNA) license.
- CPR/First Aid: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Experience: Prior experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not required.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
