Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the supervising nurse.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure client well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress.
Qualifications
- Current CNA or Home Health Aide certification (state issued) required.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
